Perhaps he was FORMERLY the defensive coordinator for the Ravens, although he may have FORMALLY held the position, as well!

Report on http://www.NFL.com. Aww this sucks! I hoped Chuck Pagano would stay here as the DC not secondary) for more than 1 year! Traitor! Especially to Indy! Also, that Indianapolis dump can’t get anything without us! Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Good choice! Let’s get the D in Indy whipped into shape.

Although I sense this will give Baltimore fans yet another reason to continue whining and crying…

Think this will work out just fine. Nice to have a defensive mind on the team. Let’s hope he can find a really good OC for the offense and someone to work with Luck. Love to have Manning back, but I just can’t see how they make that work.

Irsay made the correct hire in 98′ with Polian who in turn drafted correctly by picking Manning. What makes anyone doubt that he’s doing the right thing now? I believe that Jim Irsay wants his football team to win more so than most, if not all, of you. Do you really think that Jim Irsay would hire someone that he didn’t think was capable of winning? Relax people. Pagano hasn’t even got his bags packed for Indy yet and hasn’t called one play. Let’s see what happens. Don’t bring your negativity to the Colts or to the Colt’s forums. GO BLUE!

    Welcome! Welcome!! Welcome!!!

Welcome Chuck Pagano to Colts-land. I like the name and your bio. That aside, here are two vital tips for success in Coltsland.

1.We judge our coach by the performance of the preceeding coach. Hence Dungy was successful but not Caldwell despite Caldwell’s ONE SB appearance, TWO Playoff appearances, ONE AFC championship in his 3 years as HC.
Caldwell was not a success, because he did not win a SB and the Colts were not a perennial playoff team under Caldwell as it was under Dungy. So Pagano, your success will be compared to your predecessor, Caldwell. We expect more than ONE Superbowl appearance in 3 years, more than TWO playoff appearances in 3 years and at least TWO AFC championship in 3 years! If you want to be eternally loved in Colts-land, win a SB in 3 years!!

2.Irsay in firing the Polians said, the fans had spoken and he has heard their demands.Though Irsay disgrees, one of the compliants of the fans against Caldwell, was that he did not show any emotion along the side line. They expected Caldwell to yell, jump and run along the sidelines. The fans will expect you to do that. If you ignore to do so, you will be doing so at the risk of losing your job.Because at the end of the day, Irsay will listen to the fans because he, Irsay is here to run a buisness. So, I am looking forward to see you yell, jump, run and occasionally outrun the line referree.

You have been adviced. You have no excuse now as the HC.
We shall give you all the support. You are welcome !
Go for it Chuck Pagano !!

This is the dumbest post I have ever seen in my life. Do you even know anything at all about football? You would rather have tress who has never coached in the nfl the. Chuck who had been a defense cos h for the ravens for a few years as defensive back coach then d coor. Glad ur done with colts we don’t need fans like you. This is the best possible hire out there. Great move by Irsay. Turn in your fan card

Jim Caldwell was a fine coach. How many guys would be able to dig that garbage team out of it’s funk last year?
