Andrew Luck directed 24 plays in the first half, hitting 10-of-16 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns.

The Colts responded to the St. Louis score by marching 80 yards in 13 plays to take a 21-3 lead. Running back Delone Carter dived over from a yard out to end the march. Luck teamed wide receiver Quan Cosby on a 32-yard pass to the St. Louis one prior to the score.

St. Louis was able to get on the scoreboard on a 37-yard field goal by Greg Zuerlein to conclude a 61-yard drive that was spurred by a 54-yard interference call against the Colts. Hughes had a second sack of Clemens to force the field goal.

Guard Mike McGlynn exited the game with an ankle injury.

Luck drove the Colts 53 yards in seven plays to take 14-0 lead early in the period. Luck hit wide receiver Austin Collie on a 23-yard scoring reception to conclude the drive.

Defensive tackle Brandon McKinney produced a takeaway near mid-field early in the period, a recovered fumble after a reception.

Just as it should be. Living in florida and my dolphin fan friends were hoping Luck might be a bust. Here’s to another decade of kicking their butts. First Play of Luck’s reminded me of the first 12 seconds of MFN in Miami,, 7 to Clark. On the board in 12 seconds. Wow I use to say, (I will take Luck over talent any day) Now it’s just,,Luck n Talent. GO COLTS
