A Sunday feature spotlighted the Colts backup quarterback and the veteran experience he brings to Indianapolis.

The article profiles Hasselbeck’s relationship with Andrew Luck, a friendly wager with fellow quarterback Chandler Harnish, and ultimately the most important reason he chose the Colts.

“I wanted to start, sure, but more than anything, I wanted to win a Super Bowl,” he said. “That was my first priority. When it came down to it, that’s what I wanted most.

“And that’s why I’m here.”

All-time Indy Colts receivers: Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne

By: Mike Chappell, Indy Star

The offense of Chappell’s all-Indy team is now complete with the addition of two of the NFL’s greatest receivers.

Chappell’s blog post takes a look at No. 87 and 88 with a quote from Wayne on what the two playing together meant for opposing defenses.

“We really went into games saying, ‘OK, pick your poison,’’’ Wayne said. “It changed the game. You might want to ask those defensive backs how it was.

“You couldn’t really key on one guy. When you’ve got two guys out there who are tooled and ready to go, it’s tough. We showed that for years.’’
