With training camps around the league now just two weeks away, another NFL regular season means another year of Fantasy Football.
The growth of Fantasy Football has continued to sky rocket over the past few years and with that comes more and more preparation prior to drafts.
Last season, the Colts had some significant fantasy contributors and NFL.com’s Michael Fabiano broke down some of the team’s top 2013 draft prospects with a short video highlight.
Here’s a breakdown of the Colts top fantasy players according to Fabiano:
“The biggest name of course is Andrew Luck. While he did turn the football over 23 times as a rookie, Luck still threw for over 4,300 yards and ranked an impressive 10th in fantasy points among all players.
With one full season of NFL experience under his belt he could push some of the elite fantasy players at his position. In fact, I’m expecting Luck to move into the top five and emerge into one of the better draft bargains of the year.”
“Luck’s top option in the passing game will continue to be Reggie Wayne, who thrived last season despite being a little long in the tooth.”
Even at the age of 34, (Wayne’s) still an attractive No. 2 wideout in all fantasy leagues.”
“T.Y. Hilton was the top scoring rookie receiver in fantasy last season and he has 1,000-yard potential in 2013.”
“Fantasy owners needs to kept tabs on (Hilton’s) competition, Darrius Heyward-Bey. Hey-Bey could push Hilton for targets in the offense and he will have some late round value in deeper leagues..”
“Another player to watch is Coby Fleener, who should improve under coordinator Pep Hamilton on what was a mediocre rookie campaign.”
