With the NFL season reaching the halfway point of the season, it’s time to start thinking about who might make this year’s Pro Bowl rosters.
However, there’s a twist to the 2014 Pro Bowl and the 88 players that will be selected.
The teams will be captained by the NFL’s top two vote-getters on each side of the ball with those players becoming team captains for Deion Sanders’ team and Jerry Rice’s team.
Those players and captains will then choose from the voted all-stars in a fantasy draft style setting with the chance for players from the same team playing against each other (i.e. Andrew Luck and Robert Mathis could be on opposite teams.).
Voting for the 2014 Pro Bowl, played on Sunday, Jan. 26, began last week and fans can vote by heading to http://www.nfl.com/probowl/ballot
This is the first year for this format since the game made its debut in 1971.
The voting for the 2014 Pro Bowl consists of one-third fans, players and coaches vote.
