The Indianapolis Colts today signed undrafted free agent tackle Jack Breckner.
Breckner, 6-9, 320 pounds, most recently played with the Iowa Barnstormers (2013) of the Arena Football League. Prior to that, he spent time with the Chicago Slaughter (2012) of the Indoor Football League and Eastern Kentucky Drillers (2011) of the Ultimate Indoor Football League. Breckner was a four-year starter (2006-09) at Gustavus Adolphus College. As a senior in 2009, he started all 10 games at left tackle and earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors. Breckner blocked for an offensive line that helped the Gusties average 301.5 yards of total offense per game and rush for over 100 yards in each of the team’s final six games of 2009.
