The Indianapolis Colts today announced that exclusive rights free agent outside linebacker Cam Johnson has signed his tender.
Johnson was acquired by the Colts in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers on September 2, 2013. Last season, he played in one game before being placed on Injured Reserve on September 9, 2014. Johnson saw action in 12 games in 2013 and recorded two tackles on defense and five on special teams. He also added three special teams stops in two postseason contests. In 2012, Johnson spent the first 14 games of the season on the 49ers practice squad before competing in the final two regular season games.
