The Indianapolis Colts today signed offensive tackle Matt Hall and waived guard Will Corbin.
Hall, 6-9, 326 pounds, re-joins the Colts after spending the 2014 season on Indianapolis’ Injured Reserve list. He was waived by the team on May 4, 2015. Hall was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2014 and was waived on July 25. He signed with the Colts two days later.
In 2013, he was named to the American Football Coaches Association NAIA All-America first team and was a Mid-South First Team All-Conference West Division selection at Belhaven University, as he helped the team average 387.9 yards of total offense per game. In 2011, Hall started every game at right guard for Ole Miss and was named a finalist for the C Spire Conerly Trophy, given annually to the player voted as the school’s most outstanding player. In 2009, he played in 11 games for the University of Arkansas after redshirting during the 2008 campaign.
Corbin, 6-6, 305 pounds, originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 26, 2015. He played in 35 games (20 starts) over his collegiate career at Appalachian State.
