The Indianapolis Colts today signed undrafted free agent cornerback Raymon Taylor.
Taylor, 5-10, 184 pounds, worked out with the Houston Texans on a tryout basis during rookie mini-camp but was not signed. He appeared in 46 games (31 starts) at cornerback at the University of Michigan and finished with 171 tackles (122 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, 16 passes defensed and six interceptions. In 2014, Taylor played in 10 games (eight starts) and registered 38 tackles (27 solo), 1.0 tackles for loss and six passes defensed. As a junior, he started 12-of-13 games, recording a team-high 86 tackles (61 solo) and finishing second on the team with four interceptions. Taylor also added 1.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and nine passes defensed. He appeared in 13 games (11 starts) in 2012 and registered 45 tackles (33 solo), one fumble recovery, one pass defensed and two interceptions. Taylor played in 10 games as a true freshman and made two tackles (one solo) while also contributing on special teams.
