The Indianapolis Colts today released cornerback Antonio Cromartie and waived inside linebacker Sio Moore.
Cromartie, 6-2, 210 pounds, signed with the Colts as a free agent on August 22, 2016. He started the first four games of the season and compiled 14 solo tackles and two passes defensed. Cromartie has seen action in 162 career NFL games (137 starts) and totaled 398 tackles (360 solo), 117 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and 31 interceptions (three returned for touchdowns) in his time with Indianapolis (2016), the New York Jets (2010-13, 15), the Arizona Cardinals (2014) and the San Diego Chargers (2006-09).
Moore, 6-1, 245 pounds, was acquired by Indianapolis via trade with the Oakland Raiders on September 4, 2015. He started four games this season and tallied 31 tackles (23 solo). Moore has played in 42 career NFL games (26 starts) and registered 180 tackles (133 solo), 7.5 sacks, one pass defensed and two forced fumbles with the Colts (2015-16) and Raiders (2013-14).
