The Indianapolis Colts today elevated tackle Jeremy Vujnovich to the 53-man roster from the practice squad and signed guard Kitt O’Brien to the practice squad.
Vujnovich, 6-5, 300 pounds, has spent time on the Colts active roster and practice squad this season. He
was signed to Indianapolis’ practice squad on October 14. Vujnovich was elevated to the Colts’ 53-man roster from the practice squad on October 1 and waived on October 13. He saw action on special teams in Week 4 at Jacksonville and was inactive in Week 5 vs. Chicago. Vujnovich spent Weeks 1-2 of this season on the Colts practice squad. He participated in Indianapolis’ 2016 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 3. Vujnovich previously spent two seasons (2014-15) on the Green Bay Packers practice squad.
O’Brien, 6-5, 325 pounds, participated in the Colts 2016 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on September 3. He signed a reserve/future contract with Indianapolis on January 6, 2016. O’Brien spent three weeks on the Colts practice squad in 2015. He previously played two seasons (2013-14) in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Cleveland Gladiators after his collegiate career at Ball State. In two seasons with Cleveland, O’Brien appeared in 23 games.
