Texans 27 Jaguars 7 (Texans recap)
-The Texans once again put together a complete effort on each side of the ball in opening up their AFC South portion of their schedule. Running backs Arian Foster (110 yards and one touchdown) and Ben Tate (74 yards and two touchdowns) accounted for all three Houston touchdowns. Defensively, the Texans held the Jaguars to 0-of-9 on third down and had three sacks. The Texans schedule ramps up the next five weeks with three playoff teams from 2011 on the slate.

Texans 27 Jaguars 7 (Jaguars recap)
-The news heading into Week 3 of the regular season for the Jaguars surrounds the leg injury of quarterback Blaine Gabbert. Chad Henne played almost the entire fourth quarter once Gabbert left the game. Running back Maurice Jones-Drew was held to just 12 carries against the Texans as the Jaguars offense only had 16:41 time of possession. Jones-Drew had the lone touchdown for the Jaguars giving him 75 for his career (one of four active players who has reached that mark).

Chargers 38 Titans 10
-Running back Chris Johnson was held to 17 yards on eight carries and the Titans suffered their second loss of the season. The Titans cut the lead to 24-10 heading into the fourth quarter but Chargers running back Jackie Battle scored a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns to seal the victory. Getting Johnson back on track will be a focal point for the Titans returning home this week. Johnson has 19 carries for 21 yards this season.
