Week 3 Results:
Texans 31 Broncos 25
-The Texans continued their impressive start to the 2012 season with a road victory in the Mile High City. Houston quarterback Matt Schaub threw four touchdown passes and showed his toughness by playing through a hit that took a piece out of his ear. Running back Arian Foster had 105 yards rushing on 25 carries. Schuab threw three straight first half touchdowns on three consecutive Houston drives and the Texans were able to hold a 31-11 fourth quarter lead.

Titans 44 Lions 41 OT
-The Titans were apart of a slew of thrillers on Sunday in earning their first victory of 2012. Second-year quarterback Jake Locker was 29-of-42 for 378 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the afternoon. Tennessee led 41-27 before Lions quarterback Shaun Hill threw a touchdown pass with 18 seconds left to make it a one possession game. The Lions would then recover the onside kick before Hill threw a Hail Mary to wide receiver Titus Young to put the game into overtime. In overtime, Titans kicker Rob Bironas booted a 26-yard field goal to start overtime but the Lions would have one more chance. Detroit drove all the way down to Tennessee’s seven-yard line but was stuffed on a fourth-and-one resulting in the Titans 44-41 victory.

Jaguars 22 Colts 17
-Jacksonville got its first win of 2012 behind a final minute 80-yard pass from quarterback Blaine Gabbert to wide receiver Cecil Shorts. The game-winning touchdown came on the first play from scrimmage following Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri hitting a 37-yard field goal to give Indianapolis a 17-16 lead with 56 seconds remaining. Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew had 177 yards rushing on 28 carries including a 59-yard touchdown on Jacksonville’s first play of the second half.
