CHUCK PAGANO NOMINATED FOR 2013 ESPY’S “BEST MOMENT” AWARD
Posted by on July 1, 2013 – 11:28 amThe awards for Chuck Pagano continue to pour in this offseason.
Pagano is one of four finalists for the 2013 ESPY for “Best Moment” in the sports world.
The moment highlights Pagano’s return to the sideline in the Colts regular season finale against the Houston Texans.
Here is the ESPN information on Pagano’s nomination…
In his first year as a head coach, Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia after Week 3 of the season. The diagnosis inspired an improbable playoff run with Pagano returning to coach the team in Week 17, leading the Colts to a 28-16 victory over the Houston Texans.
Along with Pagano, the three other finalists for the “Best Moment” are Nebraska Cornhuskers fan Jack Hoffman who ran for a touchdown in the football team’s Spring Game, US Soccer Player Alex Morgan’s winning goal in the Olympics and Gold Medalist tennis player Andy Murray.
The ESPYS will be televised on Wednesday, July 17 at 9 p.m. EST in Los Angeles.
