INDIANAPOLIS COLTS MASCOT, BLUE, AND TOYOTA TEAM UP TO RAISE MONEY FOR MS
Posted by on July 17, 2013 – 12:19 pmINDIANAPOLIS – Beginning Monday, July 22, the Indianapolis Colts Mascot, Blue, will team up with Indiana Toyota dealerships to raise money for the National MS Society by forming a team to ride in their annual Bike MS event and collecting monetary donations over the next two months. Blue will launch the initiative on Monday, July 22, during visits to six Central Indiana Toyota Dealers over a span of three days. Blue has adopted the National MS Society as one of his favorite charities in honor of his family members and friends who have been affected by this disease, including his close friend Ryan Asdourian, who performs as Blitz, the mascot for the Seattle Seahawks.
At each of Blue’s visits to Toyota dealerships, he will arrive on a bicycle before signing autographs, meeting with fans and collecting donations for the National MS Society. Each of Blue’s stops is free and open to the public. In addition, fans can visit www.colts.com/blue to sign up to be a part of Blue’s Bike MS team and ride with him during the National MS Society event on Saturday, September 7, at Creekside Middle School in Carmel, Ind. Toyota will match all donations, up to $2,000, that are made to the National MS Society via Blue’s website at www.colts.com/blue.
