Each week Colts.com will take a look at the rest of the AFC South and review the previous weekend’s games.
Here is a look after Week 13:
Patriots 34, Texans 31
-Amidst a nine-game losing streak, the Texans seemed prime to end that with a 10-point halftime lead. The lead was just three points after Texans running back Ben Tate scored his third touchdown of the game with 11:35 left in the fourth quarter. Yet, New England kicker Stephen Gostkowski booted a pair of 53-yard field goals and the Patriots escaped Houston with their ninth victory. Houston dropped its 10th straight game and now have the worst record in the NFL.
NEXT GAME: @Jacksonville, Thursday at 8:25 p.m. EST
Colts 22, Titans 14
-In a game with significant AFC South meaning, the Titans got outscored 10-0 over the final quarter and a half in the loss. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw three interceptions after going 119 straight passes without being picked off. The Titans defense did sack Colts quarterback Andrew Luck five times. Tennessee must now win its final four games and the Colts have to lose their last four in order to win the AFC South.
NEXT GAME: @Denver, Sunday at 4:25 p.m. EST
Jaguars 32, Browns 29
-The Jaguars got their third win in the last four weeks with a road victory in Cleveland. Three different Jaguars caught receiving touchdowns as Cecil Shorts III 20-yard score with 40 seconds remaining proved to the game winning score. Jacksonville will look for a season sweep over the Texans on Thursday as the two teams play for the second time in the last 10 days.
