The article clearly states 2013 NFL PLAYOFF SCENARIOS FOR WEEK 16. The Colts cannot clinch anything this week. They have clinched a playoff spot, but a first round bye relies on the next 2 weeks combined for them. Simply, the Colts would be able to clinch a first round bye if they and the Ravens win out. Obviously, it could get a lot more complicated depending on how the Bengals and Patriots finish.

The way the local paper explained it was if the Colts and the Ravens both win their last 2 games, then the Colts would win a tie breaker with the Patriots for the #2 seed based on a better in conference record.

I agree… If the Colts keeps winning and a few teams ahead of them in the playoff standings slip the colts can move ahead of them.. Don’t rest anybody… keep it going. Go Colts.
