The Indianapolis Colts today signed unrestricted free agent wide receiver Vincent Brown.
Brown, 5-11, 190 pounds, was originally selected by the San Diego Chargers in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. In 37 career games (16 starts) with the Chargers (2011-13) and Oakland Raiders (2014), he has totaled 72 receptions for 919 yards and three touchdowns. Following an ankle injury which caused him to miss the 2012 season, Brown returned the following year to compete in all 16 games (12 starts) and total 41 catches for 472 yards and one score. His teammates voted him as the Ed Block Courage Award winner for his performance that year. Brown spent the 2014 campaign with the Raiders and finished with 12 catches for 118 yards in seven games.
Brown was a First Team All-Mountain West Conference selection as a senior in 2010 at San Diego State where he recorded the school’s fourth-best receiving season (1,342 yards). He helped lead the Aztecs to their first bowl win since 1969 with a 35-14 victory against Navy in the Poinsettia Bowl. Brown’s 23 career touchdowns rank fifth in school history while his 13 career 100-yard games are tied for the school record.

Tickets Go On Sale Today for April 17 Event
INDIANAPOLIS – For the third consecutive year, the Indianapolis Colts will host their Cheerleader Audition Final Showcase at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in Indianapolis to select the 2015 Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders. The showcase, which is open to the public, will take place on Friday, April 17, at 6:30 p.m. Beginning today, tickets are available online and can be purchased by visiting www.colts.com/showcase. Ticket prices start at $10 and include several seating options, including a VIP package. Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early as prices will increase at noon on April 12.
The showcase, presented by Tyler Mason Salon and Spa and Sun Tan City, will feature approximately 50 finalists from the 2015 Colts Cheerleaders Auditions, which begin April 11. A panel of judges, including local celebrities and Colts representatives, will help select the final 2015 Colts Cheerleaders squad during the showcase. The show will be emceed by Colts Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and former Colts Cheerleader Megan Meadors. Throughout the evening, ladies will perform group and solo dance routines, and will participate in a swimsuit competition.
During intermission, this year’s showcase will also feature a special performance by cheerleaders from Indiana’s Fierce All-Stars and Down Syndrome Indiana. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and fans are invited to enjoy food and drinks from Colts Grille prior to the start of the show.

The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent cornerback Deveron Carr.
Carr, 5-11, 190 pounds, was a recent standout at the NFL Veteran Combine in Arizona on March 22. He was originally signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2013. As a rookie in 2013, Carr appeared in nine games on special teams. He was then waived by the Buccaneers on August 26, 2014.
Carr started 34-of-42 career games at Arizona State (2008-2012) and finished with 86 tackles, 22 passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, 2.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions. As a senior in 2012, he earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention after starting all 13 games and recording 23 tackles, eight passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and an interception. Carr was part of a secondary that led the conference and ranked third in the nation in pass defense, allowing only 168.0 passing yards per game.

The Indianapolis Colts today agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent inside linebacker Nate Irving.
Irving, 6-1, 245 pounds, spent the past four seasons (2011-14) with the Denver Broncos, where he totaled 104 tackles (67 solo), 2.0 sacks, two passes defensed and 22 special teams stops in 54 regular season appearances (12 starts). In six playoff games (three starts), he recorded nine tackles and one pass defensed. Last season, Irving started the first eight games and posted a career-high 44 tackles (25 solo) and 1.0 sack before being placed on Injured Reserve on November 13, 2014.
In 2013, Irving started 4-of-15 regular season games and opened all three postseason contests in the Broncos’ run to Super Bowl XLVIII. In 2012, he tied for the team lead with 10 special teams tackles. Irving was originally selected by Denver in the third round (67th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State.

The Indianapolis Colts today announced that exclusive rights free agent outside linebacker Daniel Adongo has signed his tender.
Adongo was signed by the Colts as a free agent on July 25, 2013. Last season, he was placed on Injured Reserve on August 12, 2014. In 2013, Adongo spent the first 12 games of the season on the practice squad before being signed to the active roster and playing in two games on special teams. Prior to joining the Colts, he played for the Southern Kings of Super 15 Rugby in 2013, which is the highest level of professional rugby in the world.

The Indianapolis Colts today signed undrafted free agent tackle Demarco Cox.
Cox, 6-8, 294 pounds, played four years of college basketball at Ole Miss (2010-14) before transferring to George Tech (2014-15) for his final season of eligibility as a fifth-year graduate transfer. Last season, he started all but one game for the Yellow Jackets and was the team’s third-leading scorer (8.8 ppg) and rebounder (6.0 rpg). Cox also led the team in blocked shots (28) and finished second in field goal percentage (50.7%). His last game was on March 10, where he played 32 minutes, scored nine points and collected nine rebounds against Boston College in the ACC Tournament.
At Ole Miss, Cox played in 102 games (29 starts), averaging 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds. He also posted five double-digit scoring games. Prior to his collegiate basketball career, Cox played football and basketball at Yazoo City (Miss.) High School and received football offers from several SEC and Big 10 universities. He aligned at both the guard and tackle positions on the offensive line and was rated the No. 54 tackle in the nation by ESPN.com and No. 58 by Scout.com.

The Indianapolis Colts today waived running backs Michael Hill and Trent Richardson.
Hill was signed by the Colts as a free agent on January 6, 2015 and appeared in two postseason games on special teams. He also spent time on the team’s practice squad in November 2014. For his two-year (2013-14) NFL career, Hill has recorded nine rushing attempts for 23 yards and two receptions for 23 yards in eight games played. He was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State on April 27, 2013 and also spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins.
Richardson was acquired by the Colts in a trade with the Cleveland Browns on September 18, 2013. In two seasons (2013-14) with Indianapolis, he recorded 316 rushing attempts for 977 yards and six touchdowns, while adding 55 receptions for 494 yards and a touchdown in 29 games (20 starts). In 2014, Richardson appeared in 15 games (12 starts) and totaled 519 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 159 carries, in addition to 229 receiving yards on 27 receptions. He was originally selected by the Browns with the third overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Alabama.

Girls Ages 6-14 Have Opportunity to Attend 4-Day Cheer Summer Camp Hosted by Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders
INDIANAPOLIS – For the second consecutive year, the Indianapolis Colts are offering a summer cheer camp for girls ages 6-14. Registration is now open for the 4-day camp, which will be hosted by Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders, July 6-9, 2015. The will include a variety of activities and crafts as well as individual cheer and dance instruction, performance opportunities, autographs from the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders and much more. In addition, participants have the option to perform before a Colts pre-season game.

The Indianapolis Colts today signed free agent wide receiver Andre Johnson.
Johnson, 6-3, 230 pounds, was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection (2005, 2007, 2009-2011, 2013-14) and two-time Associated Press First Team NFL All-Pro (2008-09) in 12 seasons (2003-2014) with the Houston Texans. He is the team’s all-time leading receiver with 1,012 receptions for 13,597 yards and 64 touchdowns. Johnson ranks ninth in NFL history in career receptions and 12th in receiving yards. He has averaged an NFL all-time best 6.0 receptions per game, while his 80.5 yards per contest rank second in NFL annals.
Johnson is one of three players in NFL history to record five 100-catch seasons (2006, 2008-09, 2012-13), surpass 1,500 receiving yards in consecutive years (2008-09) and lead the league in receiving yards in back-to-back seasons (2008-09). He also led the NFL in receptions in 2006 and 2008. Johnson is the only player to record at least 60 receptions in each of his first eight seasons and became the second-fastest player to reach 1,000 catches in NFL history, doing so in his 168th career game. He also tied for the second-fastest player in NFL history to reach 13,000 receiving yards (160 games).
Johnson holds the NFL record with 21 career games with 10-or-more receptions and 100-or-more receiving yards. He has 10 games with at least 10 receptions and 150 yards receiving, which is tied with Jerry Rice for the most in NFL history. Johnson’s 51 career 100-yard receiving games ranks tied for fourth all-time.
Since being selected as the third overall pick of the 2003 NFL Draft, Johnson has recorded the most receptions and receiving yards of any player during that span. He has started four postseason games and has totaled 25 receptions for 358 yards and a touchdown.

The Indianapolis Colts today agreed to terms with free agent defensive end Kendall Langford.
Langford, 6-6, 313 pounds, has played in 112 career games (90 starts) with the St. Louis Rams (2012-14) and Miami Dolphins (2008-2011), totaling 318 tackles (197 solo), 15.5 sacks, 15 passes defensed and four forced fumbles. He has appeared in all 16 games in each of his seven years and his 112 consecutive games played is the longest active streak among NFL defensive ends/tackles.
Last season, Langford contributed with 51 tackles (22 solo), 1.0 sack and one forced fumble in 16 contests (four starts). In 2013, he set single-season career highs with 69 tackles and 5.0 sacks, as he was part of a Rams defense that ranked second in the NFC and third in the NFL in total sacks (53.0).
Langford was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins in the third round (66th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft out of Hampton. In his four seasons with the Dolphins, he played in all 64 games (54 starts) and notched 141 tackles (106 solo), 8.0 sacks, nine passes defensed and four forced fumbles.
