INDIANAPOLIS COLTS AGREE TO TERMS WITH S-COLT ANDERSON ON CONTRACT EXTENSION
Posted by on March 10, 2015 – 5:00 pmThe Indianapolis Colts today agreed to terms with safety Colt Anderson on a contract extension.
Anderson was originally signed by the Colts as an unrestricted free agent on April 23, 2014. Last season, he played in 15 games and led the team with 15 special teams tackles. He also tied for the team lead with three special teams stops in three postseason contests. For his career, Anderson has totaled 49 tackles (34 solo), four passes defensed, one interception and 61 special teams tackles in 63 games played (six starts). Prior to joining the Colts, he played four seasons (2010-13) for the Philadelphia Eagles. Anderson originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Montana and spent his rookie season in 2009 on the practice squad of the Minnesota Vikings.
