The Indianapolis Colts today waived tight end Cameron Clear, long snapper Forrest Hill, center/guard Khaled Holmes and tackle Mitchell Van Dyk.Clear, 6-5, 277 pounds, signed with the Colts as a free agent on February 17, 2016. In 2015, he spent his entire rookie season on the Pittsburgh Steelers Injured Reserve List.
Hill, 6-1, 248 pounds, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent on March 8, 2016. He played in 38 career games at Auburn University from 2012-14.
Holmes, 6-3, 309 pounds, has played in 17 career NFL games (nine starts) at center and guard. He has also started three postseason contests at center. Last season, Holmes saw action in nine games (seven starts) at center.
Van Dyk, 6-7, 299 pounds, was signed by the Colts as a free agent on April 20, 2016. He spent the entire 2015 season on the Pittsburgh Steelers Injured Reserve list after being waived-injured by the team on September 5, 2015.
