The Indianapolis Colts today placed cornerback Patrick Robinson on the Injured Reserve list.
Robinson, 5-11, 191 pounds, played in seven games (six starts) this season and totaled 26 tackles (20 solo), five passes defensed and one forced fumble. He signed with Indianapolis as an unrestricted free agent on March 21, 2016. Robinson has seen action in 81 career NFL games (49 starts) and tallied 260 tackles (211 solo), 1.0 sack, 59 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, 10 interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and 10 special teams stops in his time with Indianapolis (2016), the San Diego Chargers (2015) and the New Orleans Saints (2010-14). He was originally selected by the Saints in the first round (32nd overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Florida State.
